Huskies at WCCFL 35

10 UConn linguists will be presenting at WCCFL 35, taking place at the University of Calgary, April 28-30.

Christos Christopoulos & Roberto Petrosino (UConn) will present a talk titled "Restricting allomorphy-conditioning spans".

I-Ta Chris Hsieh (National Tsing Hua University) will present a talk titled "The scope of reciprocal degree operators and degree pluralities".

Emma Nguyen (UConn) & Lisa Pearl (UC Irvine) will present a poster titled "Do you really mean it? Linking lexical semantic profiles and the age of acquisition for the English passive".

Yuta Sakamoto & Hiroaki Saito (UConn)  will present a poster titled "Overtly stranded but covertly not".

Yuta Tastumi (UConn) will present a poster titled "The silent NUMBER in complex cardinals".

Abigail Thornton (UConn) will present a poster titled "Plural verbs, participant number and Agree".

Troy Messick (UMass Amherst) will present a poster titled "¾ agreement patterns beyond hybrid nouns".

Hiroaki Saito (UConn) will present a poster titled "The monster tells where you are".
