Research Interests

I'm interested in syntax and morphology, with the main focus on verbal morphosyntax in Bantu languages. My dissertation is a study of verbal periphrasis and inflectional dependencies in multi-verb constructions in Zimbabwean Ndebele. Other topics I've worked on include left-periphery phenomena and relativization in Ndebele, prosody and syntax of Bantu compound tenses and correlative clauses in Polish.
